Do you ever stop battling cancer? Some may say yes, and while true some go into remission and stay there, but Sheila Romanski has worked full-time most of her adult life while mothering three sons and a daughter, all of whom are sports active. She and her husband Andy of 37 years have four adult children. Sheila’s faith is important to her and she enjoys holiday get-togethers and sports events with family. While busy caring for her four small children in 1996, Sheila was first diagnosed with breast cancer, then underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. A year later an inoperable tumor was found in her neck and Sheila had a stem cell transplant. Eight years later, she was diagnosed and treated for skin cancer. Then in 2008 she found out her breast cancer was back and had a mastectomy, a four-time survivor and admittedly “a miracle walking,” today her passion is to help others as she was helped during her multiple journeys with cancer. By founding Crystal Roses, Inc. Sheila’s dream is to make a difference and inspire women and children by giving them hope, encouragement, love, prayer, and support.
